Fly Away Bride | A Positano Elopement Photography
A beautiful Positano elopement photographed and featured on Fly Away Bride. Gia and Ricky chose to elope from the States & have a destination wedding in Italy. They eloped in beautiful Positano, Italy. The couple had newly wed photographs throughout the Amalfi Coast.
Gia and Ricky eloped to Almafi Coast in Southern Italy, world renowned for its beauty and romance, to rediscover Gia’s Italian roots in the little town of Positano. They spent the day of their wedding on a grand tour of the area, walking along small colorful wooden boats at the water’s edge and enjoying breathtaking views from cliff top locations. Gia chose her loosely fitted white gown with lace bodice for its bohemian feel.
The flowy backless dress complimented her headpiece that showed off a large white hibiscus flower. The accessory held special significance as it is the very same that her mother had once worn on her own wedding day years earlier. Their venue on the rocks of the shore was the motivation behind a flat strappy bridal shoe and elegance was added to her more relaxed look by the big open white roses that made up Gia’s bouquet, local to the area. As they visited hidden sites with international destination wedding photographer Rochelle Cheever precious moments were captured and transformed into keepsake pictures, Gia says “Our wedding photographs one of a kind. We are so happy we got to share this special day with each other, and we are so excited to have such amazing photos so that we can remember our wedding day forever!”
