Puglia, is a delightful part of Southern Italy only about a 4 hour (fun) train ride from Rome. Alberobello is a quaint town close to Bari and is famous for it cone-shaped rooftops called Trulli.
On a recent visit to Puglia to photograph a destination wedding, I also traveled through this gorgeous town and studied its locations. The couple married in Polignano a Mare and had their inland reception in the “Trulli” region. Along the way, I stopped at a local Trulli farm where the animals lived in Trulli. Quite spectacular. It is a family run farm and produces milk and cheese run by the same family for centuries. A definite highlight of my trip:)
Below are a few highlights of Alberobello and portraits of Pugliese cows & geese:)
