Here’s an incredibly romantic boho-chic Sarasota Florida intimate wedding held at the Ritz Carlton.
It’s no secret that elopements and intimates weddings are my favorite. I’ve been photographing them for years – trained as a portrait artist years back, intimate weddings are a natural transition as I find them very similar to portraits. It’s all about the intimacy of a couple versus a full-fledge wedding and all the “party and guests.”
If you’ve been considering an elopement but you’re not 100% convinced then maybe an intimate wedding a perfect fit for you. A big traditional wedding party really isn’t what you want but still, you can’t bare the thought of getting married without some family and friends.
If you don’t want a big wedding and you don’t want just the just-us elopement – then I highly suggest having an intimate wedding. They are often called micro-weddings and they are small celebrations with only a handful of guests. Family and friends, you just can’t do without.
Many of my couples choose to have small intimate weddings for a variety of reasons. The focus is still on the couple and their wedding day but without the stress of a large wedding.
The beauty and the intimate experience remain intact.
And that is what Alex and Nicole did. They invited their immediate family and planned a most lovely intimate wedding. It had the same flair as a large stylish wedding but only on a smaller scale. Beautiful ceremony on the beach, newlywed photos around Lido Beach and surrounding areas, and a lavish dinner with exquisite table decor.
For those of you who looking for a place to elope, well, if you love beach weddings, good weather, and the Florida vibe, Sarasota is a place to consider. I fell in love with the quaint town, the white sandy beaches, turquoise water, and pink sunsets.
And the Ritz Carlton is amazing!
