Kristen and Torrey headed to Solana Beach one Saturday morning in June. With overcast skies, they brought along their own boards to get some surfing in. It was a morning to themselves away from the surfer crowds and all other distractions. It was the perfect time to be alone.
Kristen ran and jumped on Torrey’s back while he was not looking. Torrey’s smile lit up and he laughed from eye to eye. The playful duo enjoyed splashing around and hanging out one on one.
They have been dating for six years and sincerely are best friends. Torrey added that he still gets butterflies every time she is in his presence. Both agreed they could not imagine their lives never knowing each other.
On the beach Kristen brought along a board she created herself. Kristen has always had an artistic niche. She painted “Ken” the Barbie on her board and thereafter the standing joke has been that it is a spinning image of Torrey.
Kristen mentioned that five months into their relationship she found out that he was a professional surfer. She had always just assumed he was a beach bum!
Torrey would always laugh and smile at her inference, remaining humble to his profession.
The free-spirited couple is always found laughing in one another’s company…they just truly enjoy the days where they can pause and share happy moments together.
