Rome is definitely a place for lovers and perfect place for a Rome Elopement.
Every corner is a romantic setting filled with art, ancient buildings, cobblestone streets and café’s that will make you feel like you’re in a most romantic place in the world.
The eternal city was built over 2000 years ago it is immersed with classical art and culture that will literally take your breath away.
It’s a perfect location not only for an elopement but also any for any romantic getaway like a proposal, engagement, wedding and /or a vow renewal. (If you’re thinking of eloping to Rome, here is a special post to help you).
I might be a bit bias, but it is the place I call home where I have lived for most of my life, married and where my three sons were born. Even though I moved to Southern California a few years ago, I still return in the Spring and Fall. I guess I have the best of both worlds. When the high season gets flooded with tourists or the cold winter arrives, I head over to beautiful sunny California.
Needless to say, I know the Rome like the inside of my pockets. It is one of my favorite places to photograph elopement weddings. I’ve photographed 100s of shoots here and I will never tire of the light and art.
Christina and Ben had their Rome Elopement this past Fall. With Christina, we fine-tuned her elopement from her venue near the Pantheon to her newlywed photographs around Ancient Rome. They said “I Do” in an ancient Roman Amphitheatre.
It was their second wedding for both, so they wanted something romantic and intimate.
Below are some highlights of their lovely Rome Elopement and if you scroll down you’ll find their slideshow with more images.
