This past Spring, I had the pleasure of going Puglia again this to photograph a destination wedding and also a styled – photo shoot.
As usual, I arrived a few days early to discover and scout out locations for light & space.
I have been to Puglia several times and this time I primarily stayed at Polignano a Mare as my base and got to know it very well.
Polignano is a seaside gem. A quaint town which seems carved out of a cream-colored limestone cliff. It has narrow white-washed streets, beautiful turquoise doors & windows and charming old churches. This gorgeous old town has several “terraces” offering spectacular views of the Adriatic sea and it’s splendid coastline.
On top of it’s beauty, the local people are super nice and hospitable. The food, mainly fish, is mouthwatering delicious. Puglia is also well known for it’s olive trees.
