Malibu Photography | Portraits, Engagements, Elopements
This past February, I made a quick trip to Malibu for a few days to meet some clients & friends. I took advantage and also scouted various locations. I stayed at the Malibu Inn which was close to all the great beaches.
Needless to say, the beaches & backdrops are to die for. I managed to see a few great sunrises & sunsets at Point Dume, El Matador and also Leo Carrillo. It was pre-spring so I was lucky to find several plants in bloom. Mostly yellow dessert shrubs & various succulents.
One night, I had a great dinner at a Malibu restaurant “Tra di Noi” and also a brunch at Paradise Cove.
The weekend I went, was also the Oscars & it was quite busy. Nevertheless, I got to see a lot of Malibu and had a great weekend.
There are endless beaches & seascapes with great backdrops for portraits, engagement and elopements photography sessions. I particularly love the rock formations & caves on Leo Carrillo & El Matador. And of course, the weather is always beautiful in Southern California so anytime is good!
