{Joshua Tree Engagement Photography}. Charlene and An had their Joshua Tree engagement photography session in the wild Californian desert. They wanted something intimate and romantic with just the two of them in a spontaneous, moment in a meaningful location. They both love to go on adventures, visiting new places and of course the wild, wild west.
The couple met in the Desert at a Coachella Music Festival in 2013. They had friends in common and immediately noticed each other. He made a few comments to Charlene on the first day and they continued to flirt throughout concert. When the final evening ended and they danced the night away.
For their Joshua Tree engagement, they drove up from Los Angeles and rented a cute little Tee-Pee. Then we met for their engagement photography session and we ventured into the Joshua Tree National Park and explored various paths. He had a fun 4-wheeler which took us everywhere especially off the paved paths.
Charlene brought various outfits and we spent the afternoon scouting out the whole park.
Photography Tips and Ideas
Joshua Tree, California is a beautiful place both for an engagement photography session or even an elopement. It is away from everything and it is like walking on another planet. Most of the park is without internet so you are unplugged from the rest of the world. The Park is big and there are large open spaces filled with beautiful Joshua Trees, boulders and immense fields of cactus. My favorite time to visit and photograph in Joshua Tree is either in the Spring when all the Cacti are in bloom or else in the Fall when the weather cools down. It is close to Palm Springs and it gets pretty hot in the Summer.
Below are a few highlights of their Joshua Tree, California engagement photography session.
