Monica & Gier elopement from Norway to marry in Rome.
During our photographic itinerary through Rome at a certain point an ambulance came right up to us and stopped their van. Inside there was one male nurse (the driver) & two female nurses. And at first, we didn’t have a clue what they wanted. Then the driver/nurse rolled down the window and the two female nurses reached out and said in Italian “Vogliamo vedere lo Sposo” which translates “We want to see the Groom.”
Needless to say it was a very funny moment indeed and got everyone laughing even the nearby crowd. A Roman moment 🙂
Usually everyone wants to see the bride and this time they called out for the groom. Of course, beautiful Monica got her share of uhs & ahs and they were both greeted & welcomed by many Romans.
