Charming Winter Wedding in Ravello
Ravello is a charming hilltop town along the Amalfi Coast. It is way up high and has the most amazing views of the Amalfi Coastline. It’s also known as the Jewel of the Amalfi Coast (…and one of my favorite places on Earth. I spent many childhood many summers here). Ravello is a popular summer town.
Amanda & Marcantonio married on December 30, 2013, in full Winter. This is first time I photographed a wedding in Ravello in the winter. It has a whole other beauty to it. Gorgeous.
On their wedding day, the weather forecasted rain so the clouds were grey and added so much drama (love). It didn’t rain except for a few sprinkles in the beginning. As soon the ceremony & wedding was finished, IT POURED! Phew….
Amanda is American, Marcantonio Italian. An international family & wedding. Several family members & friends came from Australia, Italy & USA to celebrate with them:) Amanda’s brother also got engaged while in Ravello. So lots of Amore everywhere.
Amanda wore her Grandma’s gown & veil. How special is that!?
Oh.. & the photograph with Marcantonio waiting at the Altar on his cell, well, he was calling his witness (best friend) who was late and he had their documents so wedding was on hold for about 1/2 hour. Poor guy he got lost along the Amalfi Coast. LOL He did arrive, and the ceremony was beautiful. And it didn’t rain:)
Lovely couple:) Auguri!
