Let’s Run Away to Positano!
Karina & Jose celebrated their 1-year Anniversary along the Amalfi Coast. A perfetto “Italy Anniversary Positano”. They celebrated their honeymoon and as well. An all in one. They had gotten married the year before back home with their family and friends.
Karina had bought her blush-pink dress for her wedding but was advised that it was not quite “bridal” enough. So she wore it instead for her anniversary photography session in Positano which worked perfectly. I remember her sending me pictures of her dress, and I said “Yes” bring it. It’s perfect for Positano with its pastel colors.
The newlyweds rented an apartment in Nocelle which is right about Positano. And we started our photographic itinerary from there. There are crazy-beautiful views from Nocelle of Positano. We also ventured along “The Path of the Gods.”
The weather wasn’t looking too good with big stormy clouds, and it looked like it was going to pour. “Fear not,” I told them. The moody clouds & light make great photography. No one believes me when I do say that, but when they do see the photographs, they say “Ah, yes, I see what you mean.”
We had a car pick us up at Nocelle then ventured down to Positano to get a few iconic photographs. The light was perfect. We did a drizzle or two, and I followed them through Positano and captured them in their world. They ran, played in the sand and danced. They were oblivious to the camera. I loved how Karina would let herself go when Jose held her. She trusted him blindly. That’s amore!
