An Adorable Elopement at Villa Cimbrone
Featured on Wedding Wonderland
Destination Wedding Elopement Photography at Villa Cimbrone | Ravello | Amalfi Coast | Italy: Randi and Nick’s Ravello elopement was simply perfect! They chose Villa Cimbrone for the breathtakingly beautiful gardens. It is one of the nicest venues in Italy, probably the world. And as a photographer, one of my favorite sites:)
Randi wore stunning Jenny Packham gown which blended so well with the environment and Villa.
Although sometimes fun, most weddings tend to be organized with a lot of stress behind the scenes to please family and friends. Randi and Nick’s primary objective was to celebrate their love, their new life together. They avoided planning a huge wedding stressing over who sits where at the wedding table or other similar details.
Choosing to elope allowed Randi and Nick to choose the location of their dreams stress-free. They concentrated on what was important to both of them and starting their new life together.
About Villa Cimbrone
It is a hidden jewel that sits on top Ravello. The Villa has the most stunning views of the mediterranean sea with a dramatic coastline below. It holds the famous Infinity terrace which is lined with a series marble portrait statues.
Villa Cimbrone dates back to the 11th century. The gardens are endless dotted with statues, a rose garden, and a pergola wisteria. It usually blooms in May/June with gorgeous purple and white flowers.
It has been a popular place for many artists and celebrity throughout the years. From Winston Churchill, EM Forster, Greta Garbo and DH Laurence.
Villa Cimbrone also holds a private 5-star Hotel with a 1-star Michelin restaurant called Il Flauto di Pan. It is a perfect setting both for large weddings and small intimate elopements.
Randi and Nick stayed at the Hotel and had their romantic dinner for two at the restaurant.
They exchanged their vow at the Tea Terrace. We later went all around the gardens for their newly wed photographs.
