What inspired you to choose to do a destination wedding in Italy?
AirBNB and Instagram, ha! Kidding.. but not really! We wanted our lucky 13-year anniversary to be special and memorable. Trong is a lover of all things nature and I am a lover of all things travel. And we both are a lover of all things Internet so we obsessed and obsessed over Positano for months, booked our trip and the magic happened.
In what ways did you personalize your wedding day?
We personalized it by making it all about us! Eloping not only allowed us to focus on what’s most important, it allowed us to enjoy each other and what we love.. traveling. No regrets whatsoever.
What were your favorite wedding day details?
Our favorite part of the day was doing it the way we did – just the two of us. We spent the morning in Positano roaming around the city eating and relaxing. We did hope to be able to get our hair done and perhaps grab some flowers but neither happened. We simply lost track of time being consumed in all things Positano! It was perfect.
Inspiration/theme behind the day?
We really didn’t have a theme in mind; we just wanted something organic and natural. Something timeless and classic. With a backdrop like Positano, we just let the romance of the city to speak for us.
