Why choose Rochelle Cheever Photography?
While there are many wedding photographers available worldwide, Rochelle Cheever offers a unique, non-commercial fine art portfolio, capturing the spirit of the couple and of the day.
We are fluent in English, Italian and other languages, and because we have spent our lives in Italy, we know the country intimately with all its most beautiful secret locations, from medieval cobblestoned streets, to renaissance villas and palaces to the canals of Venice, the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany, and the spectacular coasts of Puglia, Capri, Amalfi and the Maremma.
Our photographers are both sensitive and discrete, using long-lenses during the ceremony to capture the intimacy of the moment, while never being intrusive. Rochelle Cheever and her staff are expert in putting their subjects at ease, creating relaxed, unposed images, by guiding them in such a way that they are able to capture the couple’s personal language and essence.
Who will photograph our wedding?
Rochelle Cheever, if available, will personally photograph your wedding. Her staff of associates, all hand-picked and trained by Rochelle, are also available to shoot the wedding. Rochelle will then create the finished images in post-production.
What sorts of images will I receive?
You will receive two folders in the form of a DVD, one containing high-resolution images for the best quality printing, and one low-resoltuion to share on the internet. Each folder will include color images as well as images selected by Rochelle in black-and-white and sepia.
You can even opt to receive a complimentary email with all your images as soon as they are ready, approximately one month after your wedding. These can be downloaded directly to your computer. With the high-resolution DVD, you can create as many prints as you like, whenever you like at no extra charge. All the printing rights are yours!
What happens in the post-production process?
Rochelle selects the best images from the hundreds that have been shot. She then adjusts each image for lighting, balance, shadow and highlight. She creates a special filter for each couple depending on their personal complexions, character, the color-theme of the wedding, clothing, flowers and setting. For each hour of shooting time, up to five hours are devoted to post-production.
How much should I expect to pay?
A choice of collections are available in a variety of price ranges, depending on the number of hours spent in photographing the wedding, not on the number of guests or the size of the event. We have photographed everything from an elopement to a great affair with hundreds of guests! Our mini-collection was designed specifically to accommodate portraits of the couple only and is our most affordable option, at two-hours. On the other end of our price range, we offer an eight-hour collection with two photographers, a deluxe fine art album made in Italy with 40 pages containing up to 70 images, as well as a slide show which is presented at the reception immediately after the wedding.
