Alexa’s Portraits in la Jolla, California – California Portrait Photography La Jolla
Alexa is from Paris and is a beautiful blend of French, Italian and Persian. Raised with a strong European background, she was exposed to the American culture as she went to American schools throughout her life.
She has always been interested for art, photography, painting and music yet Cinema has always been her main passion. Even during her eleven years of piano lessions, her main focus has been that of film scores, especially John Willims, James Horner, Danny Elfman and Ennio Morricone. Her obsession for movies began at a tender age of eight and has never left her.
Alexa moved to California two years ago to pursue her Masters in Film Studies and recently graduated from Chapman University in May 2015.
This inspired photo-shoot was to commemorate her recent graduation and to capture her new crossroad in life. She soon begins her first job in a European production company after having interned with them for one & half years.
We included the pier & bridge as a metaphor to her next leap in life as she gracefully passes from one stage of life to another.
